The City of Prescott Valley is seeking candidates among city residents to serve on the Building Appeals Board and the Municipal Property Corporation Board of Directors. All council/commission seats are volunteer positions appointed by the City Council. Here is your chance to have an impact on the activities of the City by volunteering for these councils.

Prescott Valley Building Appeal Board

The City of Prescott Valley is currently accepting applications from city residents to serve as an architect or engineer on the Building Appeals Board. This is a volunteer position filled by appointment of the City Council. Council meets to review and decide appeals of municipal building staff decisions. Applicants may have practiced in any state (and may be active or retired), but must continue to hold an engineering or architectural license at the time of nomination. Applicants must also currently reside within the city limits of Prescott Valley.

Municipal Land Corporation Board of Directors

The City of Prescott Valley is accepting applications from area residents to serve on the Municipal Property Corporation (MPC) Board of Directors. This is a volunteer position appointed by the City Council. The MPC facilitates the financing of certain capital projects for the City. Related experience is desirable. Preference will be given to applicants who live and reside within the city limits of Prescott Valley, but applicants living outside of the city limits will also be considered.

Applications are available at the Executive Management Office, 4th floor of the Civic Center at 7501 E. Skoog Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For inquiries call 928-759-3100 or email [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
