Training, housing, community design: the rise of professions from TG Magazine

Presented by Beltone – A leader in audience Health care.

TG Magazine of Prescott Valley has released its latest and largest edition of its quarterly print publication to date, Rise of the Trades. The edition focuses on more than 20 trades programs at Yavapai College. Centric to the edition is an invitation to residents of Brad Fain, publisher, to begin discussions about housing and how to better design the Prescott Valley region, in collaboration with the public.

“It’s the perfect time to celebrate our trades professionals. Those who help us live well: construction workers, electricians, power line workers, plumbers and many others. It is also an ideal time to work with our education partners and training centers as our regional businesses face labor shortages. We want to help raise awareness of all the opportunities available to those looking to better themselves and take advantage of career opportunities in Central Arizona,” says Brad Fain of Fain Signature Group. “Building a community over time includes housing for those who want to work here, like our hospitality professionals, nurses and first responders. This post is the start of an ongoing conversation as we reach out to residents and leaders to have a conversation about how to design our community together to make a great life for all.

“Yavapai College’s trades programs are essential to educating and training a skilled workforce that directly contributes to a vibrant community,” said Dr. Lisa Rhine, President of Yavapai College. “Our goal at the College is to continue to provide residents of Yavapai County with accessible and affordable opportunities to learn these skills and not only improve their own lives, but improve the quality of life for all of us. Thanks to Talking Glass Media and Fain Signature Group for highlighting these important programs.

Print copies of TG Magazine’s Rise of the Trades are expected to arrive in mid-April 2022 and will be distributed throughout the region including: Yavapai College, Prescott Unified School District, Humboldt Unified School District, Chino Valley School District, Prescott Valley Public Library, Prescott Valley Civic Center, Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce, Prescott Chamber of Commerce, Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce and many other locations.
