Terisa Marie Gabriel, 56, a resident of the Park Rapids, MN area, died October 16, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Park Rapids MN.
Terisa Marie Gabriel was born in St Paul, Minnesota on December 2, 1964, to Johnny Verdjas and Sharon Viloria.
Terisa moved to Phoenix, Arizona and attended Phoenix Union High School. Later, she started working with her mother in a laundromat. Terisa and her mother loved working there. She and her mother became close friends.
She then lived in Kentucky and worked at the Briggs and Stratton small engine plant in Murray, Kentucky. She did various jobs on the assembly line. Terisa was very proud of her work. She never let anything stop her from learning new things and she rose to the challenges that came her way.
2019 was a sad time and a happy time for Terisa. Terisa has lost her best friend “Woggy” a Border Collie. Very smart and intelligent dog. She was 12 when she died. In the same year, Terisa also rented a house. She was very happy to have a garden. She deeply loved her children, her grandchildren, her immediate family and her pets. He was a beautiful, friendly soul. She proclaimed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She praised him and thanked him for his blessings.
Services were held at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, October 25, 2021. The congressional anthems were “Amazing Grace” and “Just As I Am”. Jimmy Fortune sang “I Believe”, a beautiful song about a mother who was resurrected. Celebrant Donna Uselman officiated at the service.
Terisa is lovingly remembered and survived by her daughters: Therisa Viloria of Park Rapids and Asiret Harvey of Indiana; son: Jesse Marquez of Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Three brothers: Curt Schroeder and Lawrence Wilson of Park Rapids, Jesse Viloria of Arizona. She is dearly loved by many other family members and a host of many friends.
Terisa was predeceased by her mother, Sharon Viloria and her brother, Chon Ramos, her sister, Patricia Wilmes.
