Home Town’s Ben and Erin launch renovations across the US in April

It would probably be pretty hard to find someone who loves quaint Laurel, Mississippi as much as Ben and Erin Napier. The duo have been renovating homes across the city on their HGTV show Home Town since 2016, turning abandoned properties into stunning dream homes.

Home Town was such a hit on HGTV that the show also had multiple spinoffs. In 2022, viewers can expect an all-new spin-off series, Home Town Kickstart. So, let’s see what the series is all about, as well as the Kickstart release date and locations…

What is Home Town Kickstart?

After years of renovating homes in their town, Ben and Erin venture out of Laurel in 2022 and they’re set to transform properties in other small towns across the United States in Home Town Kickstart.

Ben and Erin turn a show into motion with their Kickstart series.

Six homes, six small businesses and six public spaces are all featured on the show and the Napiers aren’t alone in their renovation work, as other HGTV stars are set to appear on the show to lend a hand, especially Windy City RehabIt’s Alison Victoria.

Home Town Kickstart release date explored

The Home Town Kickstart release date has been confirmed for Sunday, April 24, 2022, with the show premiering at 8 p.m.

The show airs on HGTV and features other HGTV stars including Nate Berkus, Ty Pennington, Jeremiah Brent, Jasmine Roth and more.

According to DiscoveryErin Napier said: “We see the positive impact of this small town’s rebirth in Laurel every day…Ben and I look forward to sharing everything we’ve learned with our expert colleagues at HGTV so they can help these communities achieve their goals. .“

Explore Kickstart Locations

After branching out in Home Town Takeover, Ben and Erin take things a step further in Home Town Kickstart.

The home improvement duo visits six different locations across the United States.

The 2022 series will see Ben and Erin, and the rest of the HGTV stars, get to work in Buffalo, Wyoming; Cornwall, New York; Winslow, Ariz.; LaGrange, Kentucky; Thomaston, Georgia; and Minden, Louisiana.

According to DiscoveryBen and Erin should: “…lead three projects in each city: freshening up a local hero’s home, giving a small business a nice upgrade, and revitalizing a public space to improve residents’ quality of life and engender community pride.“
