Clear skies tonight, perfect car wash weather

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Rain clouds have pushed eastward into Arizona as sunny, warmer conditions here in the Valley begin the work and school week. Our daily average is now 89 degrees, but we won’t be saying goodbye to the 90s just yet! Tonight expect clear skies and lows in the mid to upper 60s.

It will be sunny and dry on Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s, and you can expect a light breeze from the east in the afternoon. Don’t forget, after the rain this weekend, it’s the perfect time to clean your vehicle and donate to a good cause. Just click on Paul’s Car Wash for more details!

Look for high pressures to dominate our weather pattern this week, with high temperatures at or around 90 degrees. Sunny and dry conditions through Thursday with increasing cloudiness by Friday. Another unstable weather pattern this weekend with a dipping trough across the southwest will bring us another chance of showers from Saturday evening into Sunday morning.

The highs are expected to drop to the low 80s by Sunday due to cooler air entering behind the low pressure trough. Our chance of rain at this point is no more than 30%, with the best time being Saturday night through Sunday morning. Sunny and dry from Sunday afternoon to Monday.
